Weekend Wrap Up

We had a nice weekend around our house. I got a lot of things accomplished that I've been working on. I did manage to squeeze in some time for a little shopping. One of my nieces is expecting her first. I picked up a few things over the weekend to add to my gift. (And no, Amy, this is not your gifts just a stock photo.) I did pick up a few little things that are going to make the Mommy-to-be smile. 

I have  not purchased a new dress in years. I mostly wear pants or capris for "dress up" occasions. Since this is my first time back home in three years, I wanted to look nice for the baby shower. I stopped into our local Vanity Fair outlet to look for a new top to wear with my capris. While looking on the various racks, I spotted a dress I liked, which is very rare because I'm picky on dresses. That's why I never wear them. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. I am in love with it. And at only $15.00 for a new dress, how could I say no.

And then I found an awesome pair of flip flops to go with it for just $9.

My daughter has a purse the exact shade of green to match the dress. I confiscated it from her yesterday.

While I was out this weekend, I swung by Kmart to check out their shoes. They have their Chevron Joe Boxer flip flops on sale for $3.99 so I had to pick up the yellow.

All in all in was my day for bargains!
