I don't know about you but I love buttons. When I went to Mom's recently she had some spare buttons she let me go through. I have no plans for any of these, but I just couldn't pass them up.
While I was there, I picked up some books. I am one of those strange people who have certain books that they can read over and over again. I give books to Mom and she gives books to me and we swap out whenever we visit. It's been awhile since any of us have been together so Mom had some books for me to bring back home. I love Barbara Delinsky and still own every book I have ever read of hers. She is by far my favorite author. Here were some my mom had that I brought back with me.
She had a hodge podge of assorted authors for me. Some are mine and some are hers, so I have some newbies to read now.
I have read the 1225 Christmas Tree Lane, but never have read the A Wreath of Snow. I am putting them up so I can have something good to read in December.
These three are from the Nora Roberts In the Garden Trilogy and I must say they are some of my all time favorite books....EVER. If you like books with love, plots, twists, turns, humor, family and a little ghost mystery thrown in, you will love this series.
Mom does not own a computer so anytime I see a cool Pinterest idea, I either text it to my niece Christy to show her or I print it and mail it to her. My niece Amy shows her things that she does from Pinterest as well. She was showing me one of the Pinterest items she had made.
I was amazed at how many crafts in her house had come from Pinterest. I am on there all the time and rarely have time to make the things I see. Of course, if I would stay off there I would have the time to actually do some of the projects.
I want to leave you with your Sunday morning songs today and wish each of you a blessed week. I couldn't pick my favorite of these two so I will just post them both.
