For over two years, I have been trying to get a picture of all five of my grandchildren together. Every time we would try, something would happen and it never would work. They are so full of energy and life that it is hard for them to focus on 2 minutes to get a photo.
However, they know I am getting ready to see my mom, their great grandmother. I was at the ball field last night with all five grandchildren to watch the oldest one play in their playoffs. They won the game so I thought maybe, just maybe since everybody was in a good mood that I could get a photo of them.
So I used the "Let me get a picture to take to Mamaw Helen" standby and it worked....well to an extend. They gathered for about a half second, posed and I snapped. It was evening, I didn't have a chance to pose them. Sometimes you just gotta take what you can get. Some crazy faces, some closed eyes, but everybody was happy and that is the picture I want Mom to have.

I feel your pain! I have six grandchildren and trying to get a good picture of all of them at one time is nearly impossible! Your grands look like a fun group and I'm sure your mom will love the photo. Enjoy your visit!
