I was going on Pinterest yesterday to look up shawls. I want to get me some in assorted styles and colors for this fall and winter. I freeze in church and sometimes it is cold in our office. When I opened Pinterest, this chocolate skillet cake with buttercream frosting popped up. I haven't researched all the layers to the get to the recipe yet, but you I can guarantee that I will.

Then I went on my search for shawl ideas. I love this one.

My grandmother used to make these for us when we were young. I had one similar to this. Wish I had kept it.

I absolutely fell in love with this one. Look at the gorgeous fall colors.

Talk about gossamer fine thread. I don't think this would do much for keeping me warm, but it sure is beautiful.

Sunday afternoon was my granddaughter Shelby's birthday party. Her and her brother love to make the goofy faces when you ask to take the photo.

Sometimes you just gotta snap one and hope they don't look up. I love this one of Caleb.

One of the moms at the party snapped this one of Shelby (left) and her friends. The middle one is also Shelby and the one on the right is Lilly. I call them the Three Musketeers, but sometimes in Sunday School class they act more like the Three Stooges. They are hilarious.

My daughter got this one of them walking away. I thought it was neat that two different moms got two different views of the same activity.

The Thirty-One fall catalog premier was this past week in Atlanta. I didn't get a chance to attend but with over 16,000 consultants their it was probably just as well. It looks like the fall colors are going to be some jades, teals and plums. I have fallen in love with the new Plum Awesome Blossom Pattern.

As a consultant, we get to pre-order 2 purses and I ordered mine Friday. Can't wait till it gets here. I'll be sure and share a pic.
