Weekend Wrap Up

This weekend, I went down to my friends house, who happens to be my daughter's mother-in-law, because we were having a yard sale together. We share two grandchildren, Shelby and Caleb. Shelby is Miss Picky Eater of all time. She is so picky that she makes us pick blue M & M's out of the bowl because she doesn't like them. Seriously? They all taste the same but try telling her that. She will eat cheese pizza, usually just one piece. But the other day, the pizza had bacon on it and nobody told her and she couldn't see it. She ate two pieces of pizza. Now she is so proud because she ate bacon.

She was getting ready to go to have pictures made for dance glass. She is in her second year of ballet. They had to wear specific make up for the photo shoot so I got to do her make-up while her Mommy was at work. She wasn't happy with me for pulling her bangs back before I started, but it sure made the make-up job easier.

Here is the finished product (she didn't have her ballet slipper on yet, Mommy had them in her car)

Love the little bun, but not sure what was up with the pose on the shoulder blades.

Her brother made $20 on something he sold so he was thrilled because he was going to take the money to buy a new semi truck.

Sherrie and I have this sale every year and we always "shop" each other's goodies. I got this big Tupperware container that I want to use for cookies or chips. Not sure which yet.

Sunday after church, I went antiquing by myself since my hubby had to work. He is normally tagging along with me. I took my good old time and looked at everything in both stores. I actually found this little Pyrex bowl for just $2.00....at an antique store! That rarely happens, but it was in a booth that is closing down. It is not one of my favorite patterns but I loved the way it was made and hey, it was Pyrex and it was only $2 so it was going home with me for sure.

I am trying to collect all of the patterns for the 401 Pyrex bowls. The Town and Country is one of my new favorite patterns so I was thrilled to find it in a 401 for my collection. It was just $7.95 so that made me very happy.

I have a long way to go to complete my collection since I only have four so far. Or on a more positive note, WOW! I already have four for my collection of 401's.
