My friendship with Craig...

I am beginning to think I have bonded with Craig's List. It is a great place to look at vintage items and sometimes there are great buys on Pyrex. I found some yesterday, but unfortunately a few were too high and a few were two far away and I don't want to risk shipments. Not everybody knows how to package and you have to be careful when you pay for something and expect them to ship. But it doesn't stop me from visiting Craig on occasion to see what is available. I was scoping it out yesterday and here are some things I found that caught my eye.

The first ad I found was an antique store in a rinky dink town. She said everything in the picture was $5.00 and up, but nothing was priced very high. Wonder what she considers "very high?"

This is the lime green Pyrex that I'm looking for. Unfortunately, it had sold....for $5.00. I could scream that I missed this. Some call it a pie plate and some a cake pan. I just know I would love to find one. 

This is one of those hard to find pieces in my area and it was only $8.00. But it's just not a piece I am interested in, but it was a good price. 

Another piece for $8.00. I have one of these and don't need another. 

This red one for $10 is another one that is rare around here, but just doesn't do anything for me. I don't know why, but I just don't care for this shape. 

I like this one and $11 isn't really a bad price for it. 

I like this as well, but not well enough to try to buy it. 

This is a pretty set for $15, but I don't know what pattern it is or if it is even Pyrex. 

Then I started getting into items that were $40 and $50 and that gets out of my price range really fast. But these were pretty. I love the Snowflake Garland, but I'm trying to collect more mixing bowls and less Cinderella bowls. 

Ahhh, the elusive balloon. If I ever find this pattern in anything at an affordable price, I would snatch it up in a heart beat. But not at $40 for one bowl. 

Some pretty Gooseberry bowls. It was $45 for the set which isn't bad since it is four bowls and three lids, but I just don't need any of those type of bowls. 

Well, that was all the good finds I found today. I'm off to do a bit of shopping. Have a great weekend.
