My grandson, Garret, had a ball game the other night. It was a great game and they won it with just minutes left. It was a tied game, bottom of the last inning and one of the boys hit a home run. My son is the coach and he has a great team of boys. It was awesome to see. This is Garret. He has made it his life's mission to NOT smile for the camera. I have to laugh because he smiles for the camera and knows the exact moment to stop the smile when I push the button. But he's so handsome I'll take what I can get.
I did catch the ending of this smile or should I say smirk. It became a challenge to get one with him smiling.
Then I remembered I had a secret weapon! He adores his baby brother, my grandson Colby, so I was finally able to get a little smile from Garret.
Their daughter, my granddaughter, Alexis doesn't have any trouble smiling for the camera and neither does Colby. Here they are with some of Alexis's friends. They were having a blast playing in the old tree so I had to grab some pics.
You see what I mean about Colby and Alexis having no trouble smiling for the camera.
This is Colby's "cheese" face. Love it.
They wanted me to take another one with them all saying cheese and Alexis wanted to be out of the tree.
Then they asked me if they could make silly faces. Yeah, pretty sure they nailed it.
Colby just said "my turn" and this is what I got. Not sure what was up with it, but hey, proud grandma here so I'll snap any pic he wants me to.
Then they all wanted me to get their sad faces but it didn't quite work so they wanted to try again.
This was the end result and it cracked me up. I told my hubby it looked like a poster for some southern back roads bad girl movie. They look more intimidating than sad. I just loved this one.
