My phone was three years old and failing fast. Then US Cellular started having major issues like dropped calls, lost signals, no internet or data connection. The phone itself starting doing random things like unlocking the screen, going to messages, etc. So I decide after 7 years it was time to part ways with US Cellular. I did some research and decided to go with AT & T. I went to a local store and came away with this goody bag.
You can see it was loaded down with awesomeness.
They actually took my old Motorola for a trade-in. They gave me $75 store credit and told me it could apply to anything I wanted. After telling him what I was looking for in a phone, he recommended the Samsung Galaxy Express. Since it was one I had researched I tried it out and it was love at first touch. It weighed less than my old phone and was slender with a larger screen. I was sold. I asked the price and since I was doing a two year contract, the phone was one of the free ones on the promotion.
So I still had my $75.00 store credit. I fell in love with the white Speck Candy Shell. So I added that and told them I would take it.
He recommended I get a new charger. My old one is frayed so I agreed with him and got this awesome charger. It is so cool. Because it has an extra USB port so you can charge two items at once (another phone, a tablet, etc.) That will come in handy when hubby and I are traveling and we both forget to charge our phones.
I was so excited at freebies that I wasn't even checking the prices. I just picked out those two items and he went to the register to add them to my purchase. He said you still have some credit left, would you like the black shell for the phone incase you get tired of white? I thought it was a great idea so I said yes.
I was beyond thrilled. Who changes carriers and gets a FREE awesome phone and THREE free products. THEN....he looks up and says you still have money left! So, he says "What about a Bluetooth hands free headset?" I thought, well, I guess. Then I turned around and they had a pink one! Well, yeah, I definitely said yes then. It is so adorable and precious I can't believe it. I am going to love it.
So I walked out of the store with all this for....a grand total of.... NOTHING!
It doesn't get any better than that. I was so exhausted when I got home. But the first thing I did was take a picture of my new phone.
Then change the background to my favorite beach wall paper.
Put my new shell on it.
And then I was too tired to experiment with it. Guess I'll play around with it today to see what all it does. All in all a great shopping experience and a blessing of goodies.
