My week in review

This past week, I had to run to town one evening after work. On my way, I stopped at a little thrift store just to pop in and see if they had anything I just had to have. Well, they did. First off I spotted this little cup with pineapples. I thought it would be good for hot chocolate. I don't like to drink out of the same cup all the time. I like to change it out so I bought this for my collection.

I love snack sets and have been looking for a matching set. I really wanted some in Indiana Sandwich Glass because I have always loved items in that glass. As I was walking up and down the aisle, what to my little eyes spy? This! I was very excited because it is exactly what I have been looking for. So I figured I could find it one plate/cup set at a time if I needed to.

Then I looked down on the next shelf and there was the rest of the set. The tag said set of 8 pieces, service for four. The price $3.99 for the set. Did I buy it? YOU BET! I was so excited. 

As I turned to leave, I passed this slim white porcelain lady figurine. I am starting to really like these slender solid white porcelain figures. She was just .99 cents so I bought it. 

Now I have a set of three. I do believe I am starting a new collection. 

Thirty-One had a pre-sale for consultants for the new line of fall purses. We could get two of them. I picked this one which is a cross body style. My younger generation mom's are going to love this one because of the size and the fact it is cross body which allows them free hands to keep up with the children when they go out. 

And I bought one in the new Plum Awesome Blossom pattern. I just about died when I saw how pretty it was. And the great part is that this is the new Suite Skirt purse so I can change the skirt and have a new purse anytime I want. I am so excited about it. I started carrying it yesterday and I love it. 

But the best thing that happened to me this week is that my boss bought me a new computer for my desk. I picked a Dell laptop. It has Windows 8 so it is challenging figuring where everything is, but I am loving working on it. 

Today I'm heading to AT & T to get a new phone. They told me they could give me $50 trade-in on my existing phone and with a new two year contract, they have several specials. The one that I think I liked the best was the LG Optima G. I watch every video and read everything I could find on it last night and I really think this is the phone I want. 

All in all, it has been a great week.
