Saturday, I was in the mood (so I thought) to do some yard sales. There is a road in our area, Boyd's Creek, that is loaded with unadvertised yard sales every Saturday. As I was making my way to Chapman Highway Walmart, I took the Boyd's Creek route to spot some yard sales.
I turned down several roads that took me to the back of beyond only to find them full of junk or looking like a bulk closeout sale.

I can't count the number of times I actually got turned around and a little lost on some old country side roads.

I finally decided to say forget it and head on to Walmart and then home. After I made my decision, I saw one more sale right on the side of the road and it was a church and looked like they had some interesting items.
So I stopped and they did have some fairly decent stuff, but nothing really of interest to me. Until I got to the back table. Sitting there side by side were two hobnail milk glass flower pots. A big one and a small one.
I love milk glass so I immediately fell in love and snatched them up. They had no price so I wondered around through the crowd to find someone who could price them. The place was so swamped and everybody was so busy that I couldn't get an answer to my question. I was hot. I was tired. And I was aggravated. When no one could seem to give me a price and I kept getting sent to someone else to see if they new, I finally sat them down and left. Last night, I made some cuttings from my Philodendron and my Swedish Ivy. I need two new little vases to put them in once they root. But I didn't think anything about the hobnail pots until I saw this on the internet this morning.
Now I am so made at myself I could scream. This is perfect for what I want for my cuttings. Guess I'm going to have to quit being so impatient and letting others aggravate me when I want something. And I guess I am going to have to start going to some more yard sales to find a couple of these now.

What a bummer! I probably shouldn't tell you that those vases were made by Fire King. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you find something just as cute (and hopefully with a price tag on it).
